  Great food, especially the French toast, but very pricy with small portions. Can get very busy at weekends.

  Great spot for a cozy conversation with a friend, however there is no wifi - so don't expect to get any work done here... why I predominantly go to coffee shops

  Have been coming for many years now (7 and counting). Love Joe art of coffee and the coffee itself, perfect. Quintessential and great NYC local experience. Almost bought a Coop in the building years ago (too expensive now) to be above this place and between the subway and the HighLine. Banquettes and seating could use refreshing, gets busy but maintains high quality. Do believe it was more special before the onslaught of other independent coffee chains but I still love this place somehow.

  Small coffee shop, limited snacks, coffee good. Snag the bench outside for some people watching. Don't complain when you realize the bench gets dripped on by air conditioning units stationed above.
