::I expect a little more from JCPenny than the bargain clothing stores, but in vain. Cluttered, unorganized, difficult to understand the prices, and it appears none of the staff enjoys their employment there. Not impressive.

::My father often said “All’s well that ends well”. I was in a pinch yesterday grabbing something for my son to wear to my wedding. The wedding was in 2 hours and the last minute stuff was putting me behind schedule. As expected, all registers had long lines which were moving very slowly. Typically, I’m a ‘wait my turn’ sort of guy. Yesterday I needed help as time was of the essence. I first approached the appliance register to request a ring out there due to my circumstances, explaining my wedding. I was turned away and told to get in a long line as this particular clerk only checked out appliance purchases. Then I found a jewelry clerk. Same story. Frustrated, I roamed the store in search of anyone who could help me save precious minutes until I found a young lady stocking clothes in the jean department. After making my plea for help, she quickly dropped everything and found a register to quickly get me headed back to the church. I’d mention her name to thank her again if I could remember it. She was a genuine sweetheart. Note to manager: hire more personnel who passionately recognize a customer with a special need as did this young lady. If jewelry and appliance departments are not allowed to ring other items up, shame on management. If they are not prohibited, I’m not impressed by appliance or jewelry staff. All 5-stars go to the little angel that did care about me as a customer.
