::I love their fruit smoothies and their sushi are fresh, we're coming back, I'd like to try their cakes, I just wish they have some slices to try

::Friendly atmosphere and clean. Food is always fresh and the cakes are outstanding!

::We had the spicy tuna and unagi-tempura sushi rolls and the mixed berries and soursop smoothies, all very good. There is limited street and private lot parking and more of a take out place.

::The baked goods here is absolutely terrible! Stale and doesn't even taste fresh, and the cookies are rockhard and absolutely disgusting. We had to throw away most of the staff. Even the chocolate sponge cake tasted like it was several days old. Do not eat here!

::"You get what you paid for." The prices are relatively cheap, but the quality is cheap as well. For example, the sushi was old. The products smelled fishy but shouldn't have. Yes it came from the ocean, but it only smells fishy when it isn't fresh. I heard a microwave in the background, I'm guessing he was defrosting the items. The rice was plain rice, not sushi rice, unless the staff had the recipe wrong. The fish just literally was cut through by my teeth, no resilience or bouncing back fresh fish gives you. I ordered a smoothie and the fruit was cut wrong/too deep resulting in a bitter taste throughout the entire smoothie. Overall, I can't recommend Jay's Cafe, despite its affordable prices. I feel scammed and ripped off. P.S. portion sizes are smaller than pictures posted on their store wall.
