Jason is one of the last fair and honest mechanics left! The only downside is that he's swamped with business so be patient unless you're going to him for routine stuff.

Jason seems to be a great guy and a hard worker but he apparently makes a lot of unrealistic promises to people as to how much work he can handle. I took my Nissan Altima there in November 2017 for an oil change and to have my snow tires put on. They’re already mounted on steel wheels so it’s equivalent to a tire rotation. It took him an extra day and a half to get those two quick things done. My car was there for 3 days. This week I made an appointment with him for a chirping belt, tail light bulb, and wiper replacement. He said if I left the car before 6 pm Friday I could have it by noon Saturday 1/13/18. At 11:30 Saturday he called me to say the serpentine belt needed replacing but that he couldn’t get to it today. When I reminded him that I’d scheduled this with him, he said he’d try to finish it for me but that he had so much work to do. Finally at 1:30 he called to say I could pick it up but that he still hadn’t replaced the belt. He offered to do it for me in a week when he had more time. I told him that I didn’t consider it safe to drive on the highway to my work 20 miles away for another week with a belt that could go at any minute. He then went on and on about how much work he had; when I pointed out that he’d scheduled this and promised to get to it for me, and so maybe he needed to hire another mechanic, he continued on about how hard it is to keep a business afloat. That may be true, but that is no excuse for keeping my car for extra time, still not getting to the repair that was promised and scheduled for, and then sending me off to drive it under unsafe conditions. (And even though it’s Saturday afternoon, I was able to find another mechanic to replace the serpentine belt for me as I wait.). It doesn’t matter how great a mechanic Jason is if he won’t do the work the car needs to operate safely.

At first it was good. I got an oil change. We left the car there and went to eat. When we came back, all of a sudden my car battery was dead and not rechargeable. That was red flag number #1. I will say that my battery died and couple of months ago and I did have to get a jump and then charge the battery. So i got a new battery anyway. The problem was the next day, red flag #2. I drove to shoprite and when i came out my car wouldn't start. I didn't freak i just made a call. Then i kept trying to start it. Then I rocked the car a little and it started right up. I flew home. Turns out that the cable's weren't tighten on the battery and it came loose. I then took my car to the dearler and had them check it out and they confirmed what i had already been told. People make mistakes. I understand that. But the young man who installed my battery wanted to go home. They all did. And instead of checking to see if the work was done correctly, the owner let me ride out of there with my loose battery cables. Which is why i will never go back there. When your name is on the sign you have to make sure your workers do their job right. Also dont assume that a woman doesn't know her vechical. You see with my car if your going to leave the key in the ignition you have to make sure the key is turned all the way. If not, the battery will continue to run and then oops a dead battery. My mother did that the first time which is why I knew that the guy left the key in the on postion. That's why I said red flag number 1. I don't like being lied to. Anyway I won't return to Jason Tire. Jason may be an excellent mechanic but unfortunately those who he employs make him look bad. I don't like being lied to and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

We go to Jason for all our oil changes, tire replacements and brakes. He is great, honest and does not push any extra repairs. Best of all, he answers the phone and gets your car in when needed.

I never hesitate to recommend Jason to others. He has a friendly disposition, fair prices, and an attention to detail. Good mechanics are hard to find. He is one. Treat him well.
