::Hate to do it, but I have to. Food here is horrible, beer was flat, and the restaurant didn’t seem to be clean. Notably, they even messed up a kids menu grill cheese. I won’t be back and god speed to anyone that tries this place. I recommend Changing Times for a similar type of bar food/craft beer if you live in the area.

::Didn't really experience the restaurant. Went there for a birthday party. Everything I ate at the party was delicious. The drinks did take long to come once ordered but the staff was very friendly.

::Disappointed with last visit. Consistent decrease in quality over past couple of years. Changes in menu(using lesser quality fish/meats), service and overall experience. Just recently attended a Beer/food pairing for St Patrick’s Day. Not only were there no decorations & no fun music but the wait service was awful!! No one seemed to know how the serve nor did they know anything about food/beer being served!!!! (Beer was also warm & flat). Utter fail. Won’t be back for quit awhile.

::I went to Jackson's on a Saturday night with my family for my birthday dinner. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation but were seated right away, it was 6:00 pm. Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, her service is the reason that I am giving this place three stars, because the food was not up to par with the rating. For appetizers we ordered the soft pretzels and the spicy calamari. The calamari was tender, sweet and just a little spicy, overall a great dish. The soft pretzel was not salted enough and a little bland, with the hummus it was served with being the star of the dish. For entrees I ordered Pearl's Fine Friend Chicken, and let me just say that the name speaks for itself because the chicken was just fine, not good, not great, but just fine. They gave me four nice pieces but overall they were lacking seasoning, dry and only some of them were crispy. The sides were definitely better than the chicken. The cole slaw was the perfect amount of sweetness and crispness. The biscuit was flaky with some delicious melted cheese on top. The mashed potatoes were not great, with the texture being paste-like and lacking some seasoning. My brother enjoyed his huge portion of jambalaya, saying it had the perfect amount of kick to it. My mom ordered the grilled chicken and it came out cooked to death and bone-dry. The grilled vegetables it was served with were not cooked all the way through and were still slightly raw. The roasted sweet potatoes she ordered with it were the saving grace of her plate and were the only thing she enjoyed in that dish. My dad ordered the Gypsy bowl with blackened chicken and would have enjoyed it, if the entire thing wasn't cold. Overall the food was just ok, even though the service was excellent. Stop by here for a casual place to hang out with friends and get a drink, but be careful while selecting dishes from the menu because the dishes are hit or miss.

::very good food and always reliably good service. the kids menu has options for toddlers so parents can have a nice meal without the three yr old complaining. The French toast dessert is divine but, plan on sharing.
