::I called to order chicken wings for Superbowl 2/12/23. I asked how much would it be for 30 wings, the guy said $31.99. I said okay I will pick them up at 4:30. I gave him my name and phone number. When I arrive to pick them up the line is out the door. When I get to the counter the lady at the counter gives me a different price. I inquire why the price is different, her response is " you want them or not". The new price was almost $10.00 difference. Taking advantage of people like this is unacceptable. I will not be patronizing this vender again. They were doing this to almost everyone in line. Say no to J & J Fish.

::Not very good. Took over 45 mins to ‘fry’ the chicken (after saying it will take 20 mins). The chicken was overcooked and not of very good quality. The cat fish filets were ok but the chips were soggy and again of poor quality. A V O I D.

::Been going to this location since 2009 and it used to be great. Now- the wings are way overpriced, they put the larger wings on top then the majority are tiny so they throw them on the bottom so you don't even see them until you get home, they taste funny, they're over cooked, everything is fried in old/stale oil, the fries are always soggy and cold. We went on New Year's Eve and the fries taste like onion rings and the wings were just......horrible. No matter what time you show up your order isn't ready at the promised time or even 20 minutes after the promised time. You used to be able to see in the back where they were cooking but that is covered with a catering banner so who even knows what's going on back there with your food. It's really disappointing because the guy who is cooking has been there since we started going in 2009 and he's the main reason we have been going back. He's always been nice/polite to me and my kids, and he is always apologetic when we have to wait a while for our food. Seems like I've gone there numerous times and he is the only one taking orders, collecting payments, and making the food. The rest of the staff is just rude. I can't afford to pay almost $50 for 30 funny tasting wings and some cold soggy fries, not to mention the cost of the sauce. Everything in there is covered in layers of grease. It would be easier to look past that if the food was still good. The new owners need to shut down, renovate, do a DEEP clean of the whole restaurant, get rid of the fake jewelry/clothes/purses they're selling at the front of the restaurant, and add some chairs since we all wait so long for our food to be ready. Or buy the Dairy Queen next door so they can expand to double the size of the kitchen, hire more staff, buy actual catfish, and make better tasting food. When I was in high school, I used to go to the one by Walmart- because there was no other place to go, and haven't been back since this one opened. Now I'm thinking I might have to give them another try because where else can you get good wings around here (don't say Baba's....their food is trash)?

::Super unsatisfied. Ordered Catfish Fillet it was unsafe to eat. Never saw gray Catfish full of grease. Man didn't want to refund my food, he said it was doordash fault. Reminds me of the one around the corner on Bolingbrook rd. I would definitely be going in the city of Chicago from now on. Chicago name, suburban taste.

::Horrible experience. Fish full of grease and all the breading fell off. Fries soft greasy and cold. My husband bought a beef that had unmelted cheese on one side of the bread and hard bread. Don’t waste your money!!!!!
