  Nancy has been one of the most transformative yoga teachers I have had the good fortune to study with in my 7 years of yoga practice (Iyengar, Ashtanga, as well as Gyrotonics and Pilates) When I moved from San Francisco - a land abundant with some of this country's most amazing yogis and yoginis - to Greenwich, I worried a bit about finding a new teacher. Nancy however has been one of the great blessings that has come from my move. In Nancy I have found a teacher who illuminates the power of yoga to strengthen and stretch both my body and my mind. Her instruction is clear and her eye is keen. I watch her offer each student the attention and guidance they need to grow and improve. Whether you are a total beginner or have a long-time practice, Nancy will be a true guide and friend on your path. I hope to see you in class!

  I discovered Nancy's studio 18 years ago and never again was tempted to look for another teacher. Nancy guided me with patience, care, knowledge and discipline from being strong and healthy through physical hardship until I had regained my strength again. Iyengar method requires focus. One learns the art of Yoga with gentleness, precision and awareness of one's limits. The benefits are immense. Cristina Guler

  I cannot recommend Nancy Kardon highly enough. If you are looking for real yoga classes, give your self the gift of Iyengar yoga. Nancy's teaching is very nurturing, and she knows where and when to put the emphasis, she will work with you and pay attention to your needs. Nancy will get you to learn the language of yoga and you will become fluent while teaching your body how to do the yoga poses correctly. Nancy has a lot to offer as a person, as well. Come and try Nancy's classes, it is the kind of yoga that will impact you life both physically and mentally.

  Beginner's class: you have got to try Iyengar Yoga Scarsdale. Every class is a journey exploring essential fundamental positions. It is hard to resist Nancy's enthusiasm and spirited curiosity. She helps each student strive to his/her potential. Her insightful corrections and modifications reinforce the link between mind and body. You will leave class feeling energized and looking forward to your next session.

  Nancy is the absolute best. I have been doing yoga for 14 years and felt stuck in my practice. It all changed when I started attending Nancy's class this Spring. I am excited to go to class, walk out feeling good and I am motivated to practice on my own. Nancy is very caring and dedicated. She is there for each and everyone of us in the class. Her clear and precise instructions help a lot. Last but not least, I have met some of the nicest and most authentic people in her class (a rarity in Westchester). Thank you.
