::I love the Chicken Cocktail Patties as well as the Cheeseroll and Pinetart. Great place to pick up a snack.

::Another great eatery for a quick picker-upper. The Veggie Roti is DELICIOUS!!! Guyanese Sybil's Restaurant used to be their name before rebranding to Island Express. Located smack in the middle of the Flatbush Avenue hubba hubba. 😁

::Casual dining experience. You are not taking someone here for a first date. The place seems to be quite popular, while I was there a constant stream of people kept coming in. I had finger food which exceeded expectations, so unable to comment on the entrees. But reading the expressions of the diners - I would say that it is worth a try. I will be back which is all the compliment needed.

::GUYANA 🇬🇾 Eat the World NYC review: Island Express is the latest outpost in the empire of Sybil Bernard, beloved Guyanese baker and chef who every Caribbean person in South Queens and Brooklyn knows well. From the outside, it somewhat resembles a fast food burger spot, but thankfully the foods are just as good and homemade as her other locations. Start with the delicious rotis and curry, or go straight for the off menu pepper pot, sometimes available even when no special occasion calls for it.
