Mediocre at best. I am from North Carolina and know my BBQ well. The prices were over the top for a sandwich, side, and a water. $15 bucks??? They only have one sauce to put on your pork and they charge 2.50 for a small bottle of water that i can get from any grocery store in a 24 pack for $4. The only things they had going for them was the building and location. The creamed corn side was also above average. In Austin for a week and this was not the place for good BBQ.

Oh ma gosh, the brisket! Delicious! I'm definitely going back to this place. Low key, not pretentious, easy going atmosphere, with superior & delicious food. Looks like they had a lot of good beer selections although I stuck with water.

It was one of those places that I was looking for. Characteristic restaurant (more like a real saloon) with great climate. I liked the way the bottle should be opened there. I've also bought and tried their own BBQ and it really does the job!

Widely acclaimed BBQ joint in downtown Austin. The building was pretty cool and the outside seating was nice. Had a nice, garage BBQ feel to it, order at the window, grab beers from the ice bucket and find a table. The brisket was not that great. Although it was well cooked I thought it was kind of bland. Corn was good, but the beans were also mushy and bland. Not bad BBQ, but you can certainly do better in this part of Texas.

This is a great BBQ restaurant I would like to recommend. The chicken BBQ was very tender and very good flavor. Pork rib was great as well, cooked very well with good seasoning covered. But the beef brisket was too greasy and green bean was tooooooo salty. Corn was good but too much cream. Overall was great. I recommend BBQ chicken and ribs. But don't order green beans, very very very salty.
