::If I could leave a negative star, I would. I would like to add my voice to the other negative reviews for the International College of Cosmetology location on Polk Street. I have been getting my hair cut at schools for years. This is by far, THE WORST, which I feel says a lot because there is a certain level of understanding that goes into deciding to get your hair trimmed at a school (i.e. longer times for service, students are still learning, etc). I warn everyone who may be contemplating going here for a cheap hair cut- DON'T! There are other schools in the SF area that are only $3-4 more and way better. Just awful- STAY AWAY. It is a scary thought that these students are going out into the world to cut people's hair.

::I went there with low expectations to have my hair trimmed. I was pleasantly surprised. The person who cut my hair actually had a lot of experience as a hair stylist back in China. He studies there to get his US license. For $7 haircut, I think I got a huge bargain!

::I randomly chose to go to the international school of cosmetology because it was the first salon I passed by on my walk. I wish I would have read the review before going. Since there were no students there yet my pedicure was done by an instructor, and it was the most uncomfortable thing ever. Sitting on a metal chair, having to hold up my leg for the long amount of time that it took them. Then I got my nails done by a student, she was so nervous and it took forever. However I donโt know what cuticles she cut because theyโre still there. Never again.
