::The cost compared to amenities is questionable. Basically, you are paying for location. It's a fine stay for me as a last resort. The electrical in the room was not capable of handling both the window air conditioner and refrigerator. Also, the water in the tub backed up excessively because of slow drain. But hey, it's an old building and charming in it's old Chicago glory! The continental breakfast is a charming touch! I mean, they have to make up for the nuisances somehow, right?

::The location was pretty good in the area, although the rail was about a ten minute away. The front desk was extremely helpful to us. The rooms were small, but worth the price. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience

::The diamond in the rough! Who new something so perfect quaint and infinitely relaxing could exist in the chaos of a city the size of Chicago!? Well if you didn't think it possible to experience small town charm in the middle if a world destination city that never sleeps, like Chicago stay here and witness for yourself why it earned my loyalty after only a two night stay.

::BUYER BEWARE! This hotel just wants your money. The front desk was helpful until the manager told us to leave for throwing ice out the window? We had been in the room for not even three hours and the police were called to remove us from the room. Not sure who threw ice out of a window but it certainly wasnât me. And if that was an issue there was no reason to be kicked out without a refund. Honestly this hotel is like something you would see in a scary movie. The building should be condemned and demolished because everything still had that lovely 1940âs style look and feeling. Oh and i was charged a 50 dollar âserviceâ fee for who knows what when we didnât even spend the night let alone three hours. I wouldnât spend more than 10 bucks to stay here.
