  The Inn Alberta Arts is my go-to place to stay whenever I come to relax in Portland. The rooms are private rooms are beautiful, the dorm bunks are comfy and the people who stay there along with you, in my experience, are really what stand out. There are lots of great little shops and places to have breakfast all within walking distance of the inn and the city is a short bus ride away.

  This Airbnb is the coziest, cutest, and best place I could have hoped for coming to Portland. Bright, warm, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Very affordable, too. There's a common area with comfy couches and a big armchair. The kitchen is modern. The neighborhood is filled with places to eat, drink, get coffee. There's a co-op (relatively affordable for small amounts of groceries) literally a 90 second walk from the front door. Definitely a great find. If you're up for long, beautiful walks and smelling the Portland air, it's about 4 miles to get to downtown Portland. I did it in about an hour, and was so happy I walked.
