::Has fresh cooked food boxes from local Indonesian restaurant. Many bamboe spices, specific to indonesian cooking. The BEST indo-cafe instant coffee mix is here! Takes cash and redit card.

::So...this place has obviously become popular due to some YouTube channel and fb videos making its rounds on the internet. Just so everyone who hasn’t watched the videos yet, this place is a grocery store in which they have 2 small tables at the back of the store in which they sell food. The food is very good in terms of tasting like a “home cooked” meal. It tastes very similar to my mom’s cooking. So if you’re wondering if it’s authentic etc, I’d most definitely say yes. Additionally, I believe the food is on a rotational basis...meaning it’s not always the same menu. So keep that in mind. You’re pretty much going in for a plate of indo food which consists of rice, meats, veges etc, which seems to be $10 per plate. Definitely worth popping in and trying!! In terms of the grocery store itself, it’s a standard no frills indo grocery store...so if you’re expecting something like wholefoods, you might as well turn around and walk out.

::Friendly staff and truly Indonesian food, a must-visit

::Friendly staff, great food. Just disorganized and many things don’t have prices and names clearly labeled.

::INDONESIA 🇮🇩 Eat the World NYC review: Warung Selasa, or "Tuesday food shack," is by now legendary in Elmhurst, especially amongst the Indonesian community. East Javanese chef Dewi has created a thriving scene for expats of the nation and lovers of Indonesian food in New York. Recently, a West Javanese chef has started cooking on Thursdays, making it easier to enjoy the wonders of this back-of-the-grocery "popup" eatery. Any day you decide to visit will be full of hospitality and delicious food, there is no experience quite like it.
