  They don't pick up their phones, when you leave voicemails you get calls back about 20% of the time-and if you're lucky enough to talk to a person, they won't know the answer and they'll refer you to a supervisor who won't return your calls. I always dread when a client asks for help with this department, it never goes well.

  Adam and Steven were very helpful on helping me navigate the permit process. The department is very busy but they did add a human element to what can appear to be a big government machine.

  Tried to call them and to ask a question and they hang up on you the first chance they get on the automated phone line. If you leave a voice mail good luck getting a call back. If you go there the parking is horrible....etc etc
