::I had been to brunch here a few times, which is very good but also very crowded/busy. I just went here for dinner for the first time (birthday!) and I have to say that it was one of the best meals I've EVER had. Not exaggerating. The chef uses fresh local ingredients and is apparently a genius about textures. The entire menu is very well considered and everything we ordered was superbly delicious. Prices of course are not low, but the value is good; same quality food downtown would cost twice as much. So pick a special occasion, and come here for dinner. You won't be disappointed. (Also I have found the wait staff to be friendlier than usual...always a plus!)

::Constantly shifting menu so if you don't like your first visit, return in a month for new items. They have terrible venting at times which leads to your clothes smelling like whatever is in the kitchen. Only reason I would give this place four stars. I come weekly for knitting night as well occasionally trips for a drink, coffee, studying in the back corner, drag bingo....who am I kidding? I’d move in excellent t for the ventilation. Love this place. Update: they recently lost their pastry chef who did a Gluten Free torte. Fewer options for Celiacs but they go out of the way to make it work.

::This place has a great ambiance and makes a pretty good first impression. I went with my friend, as she had been asking me to go for a while. We were both disappointed with the food and drinks for how much they cost. I don't mind paying but I expect to be impressed if I'm paying top dollar. She had plain pancakes with whipped cream and I think I had a lobster omelette, we also had coffee and a mimosa which was practically water. I will not be going back.

::Neighborhood place with a nice selection to choose from. They had a piano player playing background music when we were there and a fire in the fireplace. A cozy place, casual but with an upscale feeling at the same time. The service was excellent and everyone was accommodating and attentive. Everyone in our party enjoyed there meal and the ambiance.

::A village feel in Northern Manhattan, the Indian Road Cafe captures fresh and natural flavors with mindfully sourced ingredients, while overlooking scenic views of the last frontier of Manhattan's rustic nature. The venue is teeming with crowds on weekends, so best make it here early. It's a gem of a place for any neighborhood and has world-class staff who really know their stuff. For brunch I recommend the Seaman Trucker's Breakfast and their seasonal spiced drinks. Can't go wrong there.
