  Wonderful place..best thing that has to do with Illinois since Lincoln..deli sub is a Nautilustastic delight ..fresh cookies and pies , quiche available for real men ,,free coffee if it's snowing and there's a liquor store across the street!!

  I am amazed and pleasantly delighted at the high caliber of staff of this place. It's been an established place for many, many, many years and despite the normal turnover of staff, the management maintains a very consistent positive atmosphere and dining experience every time I walk through their front door. The food quality is top notch and you can always find a delightful treat or well-prepared dish to eat while here. They even have a refrigerated/freezer case of ready-to-bake desserts you can try at home! It would be very difficult to find anything to "complain" about here, but the only thing that has challenged me every so often is their restrooms. Their limited, single-occupancy restrooms. One for men and one for women. Their dining room expanded after a remodel many years ago, but the restrooms, which I'm glad that even these exist, have been the only bottle-neck when there are a lot of patrons visiting. It's a very popular local stop in Broad Ripple. I love this place no matter what.
