  One of the best restaurants around downtown Detroit for pancakes and waffles. I love the way, the menu gets altered occasionally, with special seasonal chef specials introduced, every now and then. The classics here are my ultimate favorite. Food quality is just too good as a while... Since the food is made to order, there definitely is a waiting period for the food to be served.... Hiwever, it's always worth the wait here....uundoubtedly, will go here again .....

  Terrible service. Placed a pickup order online and their app told me that it'd be ready in 15 minutes. I walked and arrived there in @ 15 minutes. It took 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I was there. It took nearly a half hour more for me to get my order; all I ordered was am omlette!! Except for one young man who eventually got me my food, the staff there didn't care that I was waiting a long time for my order. I was just visiting from out of town and I didn't have rental car so it would've been quite inconvenient for me to just go somewhere else. Plus I prepaid for order through the app with an IHOP good card so getting my money back would've been a hassle. Regardless, if I lived in Detroit I would NEVER go back to this IHOP.

  I had a bad waiter my first go round. Did a review an the manager Queen called in for a free meal. There was a mishap with the food an the waiter didn’t want to dispute the issue. Long story short Hospitality manager Charles is very professional. Seated me with a nice waiter. Elise is her name she didn’t need a note pad to remember my order an I order a lot of food. She remembered every single thing. Really a great job. Had a very nice experience with these 3!!! Thanks again Queen, Elise & especially Charles the hospitality Manager..

  Excellent restaurant to bring the family. A young waiter named Matthew was very responsive to our needs, the young man is till in high school.yet had manners that exceeded his age. The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. I have been out of Detroit for almost fourteen years and I have to admit that things are looking up for many people in our city. Thanks IHOP for proving a great meal to myself and my family.

  My breakfast was barely edible. Something about the potatoes made me feel sick eating it. The eggs weren't runny enough. My toast wasn't properly toasted; the butter was sloppily applied and tasted weird. I ordered an iced tea and it was too sweet. Because I could barely eat the breakfast, I ordered pancakes. They were edible, but too dry. On the bright side, service was friendly and patient.
