::We have been banking with IBC for around 3 years now. We haven't had any major issues with them, we have bitten our tongue with some of their more weird policies (like no withdrawing cash in the drive thru) but this has got to be the most outrageous thing I've ever had to deal with in all my banking experiences. My husband went to deposit a check on Friday evening around 330-4pm, inside at the tellers in person. Come Saturday and the amount was still pending. I've been at banks where it is a 24 hour waiting period sure, but they usually give that explanation if depositing through the atm. He called Saturday and was told that since he made the deposit after 3pm it would be one business day before the funds are available. He asked if that meant no funds until Tuesday since Monday was Columbus day and they confirmed it. Okay, fine we wait all weekend (because I'm guessing they assume bills stop just because it's a holiday too right? Ha!) Tuesday morning is here and still no funds deposited. He calls again and they said that due to the funds being deposited after 3 on Friday it was held and since Monday was a holiday all San Antonio checks are running behind (something about how the market works here) and it should be available tomorrow. When he asked why the cut off is 3pm if the bank is open until 5 they said it is a new day starting at 3pm. I can honestly tell you this bank makes no sense when it comes to explanations and their customer service is equivalent to what I imagine you would receive at a traffic stop. I know one customer does not make or break a system but I'm hoping we are the start of a domino effect for them to open their eyes. We are moving on to greener pastures. Good luck all.

::Brooks city. Base IBC be customer service. Tellers are rude and no friendly services. Best place was the one in the HEB mcreless. Or by the pica pica plaza.

::The doors were locked at 5pm, but the lobby hours said they closed at 6pm on wednesday, and i could clearly see 2 women sitting inside just talking. I knocked on the door very loudly, but they proceeded to just ignore me and continue talking. When i confronted her through the drive thru, she said that the doors were locked, but she could let us in if she wanted to.
