::This was a really big disappointment. The menu was totally misleading, first of all by calling their sandwiches “paninis” when they are not pressed, or even hot for that matter; but especially because on the list of items that it shows comes on the sandwich, it ends up being a “spread” that supposedly includes those things rather than those things themselves. The spread was really light so it was pretty plain and dry— just meat between bread... for $12.80!

::The worst sandwich we've ever had in New York and we live here. Thick, doughy bread, razor thin teensy quarter slice of no name cheese, a thin slice of something dry and meat-like and mayonnaise for $12.80, with plenty of attitude. The top of the sandwich was at least 3" thick, the bottom about an eighth of an inch thick. I panini DOES NOT have a panini press!!! Kinda dumb. The poor little sandwich was ice cold. When my wife asked about the missing ingredients the "sandwich maker" pulled apart the sandwich and stuck his finger into the mayo on the bread and said, "That's the cheese!!" And squished the sandwich together turning it into garbage and returned it to her. Eataly was a bummer.
