::Kinda a weak selection. Most of the used is typical, 5 dollar stuff. They have the usual new stuff and a couple decent picks in the recent arrivals section which was fairly tiny. Their heavy metal section is pathetic though. If it was close I'd swing in more often but it's not worth the trip. Atmosphere is cool though. I'm not sure if anyone works there as I've never been greeted nor wished a good day.

::Fantastic. I love the classical selection here. Easily, the best in town. They have everything else I want too. Very sane pricing.

::Easily the best record store in town. Great record selection, great pricing and a staff that genuinely cares about the customers the come in and the music they sell. I have had amazing experience after amazing experience at Hymie's and wouldn't go anywhere else.

::Dave and Laura are amazing. They're general knowledge of music really helps every time that I come in because they're recommendations are spot on every time. I love discovering new music, and they really take the time to walk around the store and show me albums to consider based on what I like. Their passion for their business is obvious and much appreciated. All of their events, especially the annual Record Store Day are incredibly fun free shows that I try to get to, and I always bring my kids who have a blast. Prices are incredibly affordable, and it's a great place to bring your collection when you're selling. Five stars!

::Love this place. Very laid back, very cozy record store in South Mpls, attached to the Blue Moon coffee shop which is also awesome. It's the kind of place you want to hang around, until you start to think maybe you're that weird guy. We've found lots of cool vintage vinyl here, and they sell the new stuff too.
