  The Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria is situated in a prime location in Old Town Alexandria and offers guests modern, clean, and spacious rooms. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area. My experience at the Hyatt Centric far exceeded my expectations and I plan to visit their restaurants regularly in the future.

  Rooms are compact, but they have everything you need, are clean, and look to have been updated nicely over the years. The staff is friendly and attentive. Compared to hotels of similar quality in nearby locations, this place is cheaper - this is a clear and obvious choice if you are looking to visit the DC area but are on a bit of a budget and unwilling to compromise on quality - especially during the winter as the lack of a pool is no issue.

  I stay in a significant amount of hotels due to my job, once I found this hotel I stopped using every other hotel in Alexandria/Old Town. This hotel is phenomenal. They have always been extremely welcoming to my 100lb hound. The rooms are very nice, super comfortable beds, you can cast to the tv, and the hotel gym is clean. Above all else, Kelly is superb! She is professional and friendly.

  Do not lodge here under any circumstances!!! There was an issue with the billing, and instead of calling it to attention the hotel went into my account fraudulently and charged my credit card every day up to 5 nights' worth of stay!! When I attempted to extend my stay, I encountered a rude, older racist supervisor (Angela), who refuse to resolve the problem and instead told me my card was declined. Of course, after charging the card multiple times the same amount in someone's account without authorization the bank finally pushed back. She then told housekeeping to lock my room and keep my items hostage. When I requested to speak to a manager she contacted someone claiming that was manager, and told me what he said. This is too childish, I want to speak to the manager, not through a third party. Angela refused to provide any type of customer service, then cancels my new reservation, without my request. She continued to pace around the desk looking to create a scene. Save yourself the headache, and go somewhere else. A nasty dirty motel that only cleans the rooms every 3 days. This is not standard for Hyatt. I will be contacting headquarter, regarding this issue. Luckily, I found a better hotel with less stress to enjoy my stay. Will never book here again!

  First of all I would like to thank the amazing staff for making our stay good. I say good because the room was barely tolerable. Small and cramped it was really difficult to relax in. Not enough outlets for the many chargers you need now and the desk under the TV and abutting the bed made bathroom stops problematic. The "smart fridge" didn't work so they brought up a working one that did. On the other hand the shower was amazing, hot and powerful and the beds were comfortable. I understand this is "Old Town" but this is also Hyatt. Make the rooms either bigger or more ergonomically efficient. One more shout out to Angela, Will and the others that really catered to us. Thank you!
