Throughout the whole entire world, God has blessed AZ for providing a University near many brilliant people with the heart of a loving Family. Creating the dream school that I would've never imagine to be a part of. As the one tour guide once said; "Huntington University is not just a school where you come to get a job, make money, and move on. Huntington University brings out the heart in art. Breaks down the walls, that make it hidden to the world ..... Huntington University Center for Digital Media Arts is not just a school, it's a family, contributed and made up of many talented people with room for more to join ..... but when ..... but when amazing people help out, these obstacles and trials are quickly solved. Thus creating media like no other..." (The rest should be known to be said) -2017 Tour Guide

Being a first year student with no prior knowledge of film production, or any know-how on how to even properly use a camera, I can honestly say that coming to this school has been the most rewarding, most eye-opening, best decision I ever made in my entire life. The hands on learning done here has not only grown my knowledge of film production but has also given me focus (pun intended) in life. I've worked hands-on in multiple scene studies, a handful of projects, and even a short film, all within a semester. This school truly is amazing.

Huntington University Arizona is a place where many things all come together for a student. On day one you step into the unknown and allowed to explore your creative freedom. The classes are top of the line! yes, there will be some slow parts but that’s because everyone is at a different pace and place, but don’t get me wrong the education is top notch. If you are expecting a high level digital media arts education then this is the place for you. Be aware this school might not be for everyone, however, being apart of it and it’s foundation I’ve seen it develope and only get better!!! I have been placed in roles where you do little, or where you do lot either way it’s all a learning experience and if you think about it it’s like a puzzle all the small things that we tend to overlook are still a major role in creating that beautiful outcome. The community and environment is outgoing and open to really anyone. The staff is great and top of the line! The counselors and admin know what it takes, how to get you there, and even the best way for you to achieve those big dreams of yours. I know from experience! I know from being thrown in! I know from talking with others! It won’t be long before this school is recognized for its successes and its unique ability to adapt! If you are even questioning a film school! Check out HUAZ! I know I am sure glad I did!

Going to this school has been one of the best things to happen to me; the teachers and my fellow students are so helpful and we all want each other to succeed. Being in the film program has helped me learn the fundamentals of filming and editing as well as how to use a camera and how to be a grip and gaffer. The teachers are great at giving constructive and positive feedback, and honestly the Christian aspect is there, yes, but it's not required and doesn't force itself unto students. I'm proud to be going here and to be a Forester.

The film program is a lost cause. Unless a student already has some knowledge of film production, he or she will learn absolutely nothing. Assignments are given without instruction or guidance on how to operate equipment. Basically, the program gives assignments and students are responsible for self-teaching/learning. A really expensive way to self-teach, but at least you get the degree I guess. Thank God for YouTube! Also, Christian in name only - at least the film program.
