  I am so glad to see Hunt's field is still in operation. I learned to fly there back in 1985. My instructor, Max Chambliss, was an awesome instructor. After earning my private pilot certificate there at Hunt's field I finished my ratings in IL and ultimately went on to have a career as an airline captain for ATA flying their Boeing 727-200 and their 737-800.

  I've had some of the best days of my life since I found this place back in November. Took my first flight on November 10th and was immediately hooked. The flying was as fun as the folks that manage the place. They have become good friends. I would encourage anyone thinking about flying to give this place a try.
