  NEVER, EVER, EVER get your taxes done by H&R Block at this location. I made the mistake of going in last year to have them file my 2015 tax return and since that time I have spent hundreds of dollars and countless hours on the phone trying to undo their mistakes. First of all it took hours for the tax professional, who I now know is not even a licensed accountant, to prepare the taxes. Then, when all was said and done, I found out that not only were my taxes negligently and erroneously prepared (she was supposed to file me as a part-year resident in NY, but filed as if I had lived there the entire year, costing me more money in taxes that I never should have paid), but then after contacting the Tax Departments for the states I was required to file in - each state told me that they NEVER received my filing. Ultimately I got charged over $359 in tax prep fees, and paid over $500 in money that I thought I owed and it turns out that my 2015 state taxes were NEVER EVEN FILED. Then when I contacted H&R Block to get a refund of what I paid in tax preparation fees, they have done nothing but give me the run around and have failed to refund all of the money that I paid. I guess they think that they can perform shoddy work and still get compensated. Despicable!
