  Had our taxes done here one year. The staff was very helpful, and they were professional. H&R Block's in person services are pricey though. That isn't a fault of the people here, just the company. If you need tax help, this would be a good place to go

  So, in 2013 we decided to let HR Block do our taxes, for a variety of reasons. We went to the Oak View Mall location, and let Sylvia do our return. We trusted the tax preparer to do things correctly, so we declined the "Peace of Mind" clause, simply because we didn't feel we should be having to purchase additional insurance for professionalism on top of what we paid the preparer to do the tax return. Well, it bit us in the you know what.........I just got a bill for over $1700 because our tax preparer entered social security taxes in the wrong column (whatever that means). When I contacted them, they offered to pay the interest and penalty ($83) plus issue me a $100 gift certificate for next year's tax preparation. No thanks, I'll be using someone else, thank you very much. Word to the wise - either use someone who knows what they are doing, or make sure you contribute to HR Block's bottom line by purchasing the "peace of mind" clause.
