  I moved from NYC to NJ early last year so I figured I would go here for my taxes this year because the part year resident return can be a little tricky. I'm sorry I decided to go here. It was a bad idea from the second I walked in. There was a definite language barrier, which is more of an issue when you're dealing with something as important and personal as your I come taxes. I knew what they were telling me was wrong, asked them about it, but they insisted it was right. I asked if I had to file my taxes that night...I wanted to verify what they were telling me, again they insisted I had to (probably because they didn't want to lose the commission). I went to the office in Clifton today to have them take a second look and they confirmed that there was an error on my return, so now I have to wait until my return is received, go back to their office and have them file an amended return. And I'm paying $114 for the privilege of having to waste more time to fix their mistake. Do yourself a favor, stay away

  Stay away! My experience wasn't even tax related I went to ask if they could issue me a new emerald card, first a guy came and said they were eating now, ( half an hour before closing time) I asked him so you want me to go away? He said no no, no problem. I hear an old lady asking do you wanna help him and someone in the back said no! Then the lady comes and say why you want another card, I said I want a different account. She goes then comes and say OK I'll help you. She then start saying we never did this, we are not really the bank, I said can it be done or not? She takes the phone and say I'll call and ask them, she seemed like she had no clue, then she asked me for my social security number BC the automated system is asking for that, I told her I will not give personal info yet, I'm only asking if you could issue me a new emerald card or not, she then slammed the phone and got upset, I asked her why are you being so nervous, slamming the phone , thank you, I took my card from her desk and got up and left, and she kept yelling he didn't wanna give his info! What can I do! Very unprofessional, people go for the name but it is obviously franchised to anybody with money. If I wanted to do my taxes I wouldn't come near that place, and to that old lady with attitude, brush your teeth before taking a customer please.
