  If this would have let me give it zero stars, that's what I would have done!!!! I should have known better. Took my taxes to this H&R last year (2013) because I thought the CPA I used years prior was a bit too pricey. The piddly $50 discount costed me much more than that in penalty and interest fees because they did not prepare and file a form 725 which is a required form for the type of business that I own. It is a VERY small business with uncomplicated taxes to prepare (LLC sole proprietorship). I go to have my taxes prepared by someone who I assume knows what has to be filed. That's WHY you PAY a "professional" to do them, isn't it? When the state revenue folks contacted me about this, I called H&R Block (got forwarded to the Tates Creek branch). The guy that answered the phone didn't even know what a form 725 was, and he said he would get back with me on what they would do to help. I never got a return phone call but by this point, I decided I didn't want them touching any of my taxes so I went back to my former CPA and groveled and she prepared them. You get what you pay for. I would NOT NOT NOT recommend H&R Block. I misunderstood and thought the people preparing taxes with them had some kind of tax background/understanding/knowledge. I would have been better off doing TurboTax.
