  This is one of the best stores in New York. 1) everything supports women trying to make a go of being themselves in the world-so anything you buy sends that energy out there and to the person you are buying for. And 2) it's not bougey at all. The cards for $5 and hilarious, there are pins, beautiful jewelry all so reasonably priced and also very nice higher end items too. This store is spear heading how capitalism can be manipulated to pave the wave for a true social democracy. It's pretty cool. Many thumbs up.

  Small shop full of unique and interesting finds! Worth the visit and love that the shop promotes female artisans!

  5.0 star rating10/27/2017 First to Review Howling at the Edge of Chaos is a small gem found in the middle of Beacon. This is a fantastic store! All products are created by female artisans. This store carries a variety of items such as shirts, jewelry, notecards, journals, artwork, etc.. Unique items that are created by women. A great place to find that special gift!
