  Went here to see family in San Antonio. Was not impressed. Covers on weekdays, and really rude bartending and waiter staff. Walked in and could barely move, tons of drunk older crowd (50+) blocking the way and getting in fights. Bouncers decided to move all the tables and chairs around after everyone was there. Really rude to guests while doing this process. Bartender was rude and watered down all my parties drinks. The waitress we had after we (finally) got a table was nice, and the piano acts were fantastic as well. I'm sure on a slower night and not so many stupid people, it would be a better time. But seeing that was a Tuesday, I find that really hard to believe.

  We had a pretty decent experience here. Though I will say that they "read the crowd" when they play (or they'll play if you tip more than $10, I saw quite a few $20s go upstage) so you sometimes get the same song played twice. I wasn't a real fan of this particular location for the selection of music that was being played. It seemed it was either Top 40 or 80s. We got offered a free pass the next night and we declined to show up. It was good but I much preferred the Houston location better. I feel the musicians just played because they were paid where as the ones in Houston gave a better show because it appeared to me that they loved what they did.

  We were in San Antonio for our annual golf trip and visited Howl at the Moon for 3 straight nights. The music was great and the atmosphere was energetic. Fun place to hang out and dance. The only negative is that when they close at 2am, they rush everyone out the door like cattle

  I love listening to the dueling pianos. We arrived early so we could get a good seat. It wasn't until later in the evening that it became so over-crowded and loud that you couldn't tell what songs they were playing. The waitress got so busy that it took forever to order more drinks so we left.

  We love this bar! We were just there this past weekend! We come to the riverwalk every year for a weekend and this is our go to bar on Saturday night! The staff is super friendly and very attentive and when you order a drink you are not waiting around forever, they get it to you quick. The musicians and singers are so upbeat and make sure everyone has a good time. We always recommend this place to all our friends. Cant wait till we come back!
