  We worked with Houran on a gut renovation project, including structural work. The owner, Steve, was very mindful of our budget and his prices were very reasonable. He was flexible with us on any unexpected work that arose during the course of the project, and he stuck to his contract price for work even if the scope exceeded what he initially projected. Most importantly, Steve was extremely responsive to all of our calls and was always willing to meet, whether it was nights or weekends. His crew was on site every day and the work was performed in a timely manner. We are very happy with the finished product and have already recommended Houran to friends.

  We hired Steve to renovate kitchen, 3 bathrooms , living room , dining room. We had water dripping on to dining room ceiling because shower tiles were not properly installed. We called Steve immediately and his response was it’s been a year so legally I’m not responsible. We have constant squeaking from our hard wood floors. Ceilings and walls you can see bumps poor tape on joints. The kitchen he installed New cabinets then drilled holes inside to run wires for lighting. Hard wood floors have gaps and jagged cuts . Extremely poor quality work in kitchen, bathroom, Sheetrock , painting electrical... I wouldn’t recommend Steve for a public bathroom . We lost our money doing business with houran construction DON’t Loose yours.

  Steve is a very experienced and honst contractor and his crew are professional tradesmen. Their job quality is second to non.
