  Good hotel with small but nice rooms. They were still remodeling the lobby the last time I was there. Would love to see what it looks like when it's done. The people at the desk are super nice and welcoming.

  Hotel with reasonable rates for SF and in an amazing location. The rooms are clean and have a nice funky decor. The hotel is next to the Chinatown gate and within walking distance to BART and Muni, so it's great for transportation. The staff are really nice as well.

  Given that the lobby was deeply under construction, I wasn't expecting much from this hotel stay. Gosh, was I wrong! I've stayed at many local boutique hotels in San Francisco the last few months for business, and the Triton is by far my favorite. The walls are so thick that I couldn't hear a thing from my neighbors, and the room was quite spacious. Even though I faced a busy street, I couldn't hear a thing as soon as I turned on the in-window air conditioner/fan. The gym has a variety of equipment that is modern, well-maintained, and clean. Also it's only steps away from the Dragon's Gate and Chinatown. A win all-around.

  Great hotel at excelent location! I had great experience long time ago (a that time I was not writing reviews so I am doing now). Room was small but clean and well decorated. It is simple but efficient. I do recommend!

  The hotel is easily accessible. We didn't utilize the valet service but parked a block away for much less than the $54 the hotel charges. Right next door to Chinatown and a block or 2 away from Union Square. The room was on the small size and the carpet was dirty. We brought our dog with us and understand about carpets /pets but I would have expected a better vacuum job. When we turned on the window AC unit, a cloud of dust and lint chased us out the door. I will say that the front desk staff was wonderful! They accommodated us when we needed a late checkout, which was GREATLY appreciated. This is quite a unique hotel indeed. Note: I took off 2 stars because of cleanliness and the fact that the housekeeping staff started vacuuming and cleaning next door at 730 which was a little early for us while on vacation. I realize it's an older building. I hope they address the noise factor during their renovation.
