::It was OK. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was appreciated, but the room itself was kind of dingey. I guess it's a nice hotel considering the part of town it's in, but it's doubtful I'd stay there again.

::Whilst vicinity to downtown was great the hotel was not. The area was sketchy to say the least, room was very basic (and we got a free upgrade so I dread to think what an economy room is like). Pool was filthy. Went nowhere near it. Nothing like the photos. Breakfast room is in a very tiny room and if the room is full, you sit in a converted closet. It was only 30 or 40 USD a night more to stay at the Hilton (on the honors program, which is free). Only shining light was Sylvia. She is a legend and super friendly. Should be working at a better hotel than this IMO.

::Very good deal for the type of room I received for the price. It’s in the middle of downtown LA so I Wouldn’t recommend you walking alone but if you need to stay close to town and need a neat, newly remodeled room at a reasonable price then this is the place. Secure building with parking and helpful staff
