  An absolutely beautiful and serene location to spend the day or night. From the quaint shops within the hotel to the scenic beach only steps away from the hotel, you will find plenty to see and do. The staff here has always been great, the grounds are well maintained, and the rooms are comfortable. Definitely worth checking out if you visit San Diego.

  A long trek from North County for my weekday breakfast business meeting. Ocean view from the restaurant terrace is a not so subtle reminder of why I live in SD and love the Del - now a Hilton property. The breakfast buffet was a good decision with all the standard fare, but I see the Sunday brunch now sets you back $98/pp - ouch! From past experience, it offers delicious choices - but still, ouch! Order it, and spend the rest of the afternoon walking it off on the Del's great white sand beach. If you happen to be mired in the east coast winter from hell that just won't quit and this sounds decadent, it surely is - book the trip!
