Pretty much zero noise control. Wouldn't have mattered much if there wasn't multiple rooms booked around me with school kids without supervision. Otherwise the room was large and clean, shared bathroom well maintained and friendly staff

Price shock about paying almost $70 for a hostel- just for a place to put my sleeping bag has prohibited me from staying here- though I wouldn't necessarily recommend trying to weather the night with the crazies outside like I did either in this neighborhood. I almost got a room here but I didn't even have a sleeping bag- and there was this long line up in front of me, then the employees got completely snooty with some guy ahead of me and was telling him they were going to refuse service on him because of his poor attitude and I just left. Maybe the guy was a jerk or whatever I don't really know. It was too much for me though. I just still can't fathom paying that much for a hostel. It is against my religion. It used to be you could get a hostel downtown for $20- and hardly anyone to share it with- but that is gentrification for you and keeping up with the Jones if the typical hotel room in the area is $200 I suppose. Sure are a lot of people who need places to stay as I could see from the surrounding neighborhood. But I bet you can almost get away with charging whatever you want- especially since your rent must be so high- you'd have to charge a fair sum too right? Kinda like an arms race isn't it- in which you already left someone behind at the starting gate...

Great hostel. Convenient location, clean rooms. A little bit noisy (mostly street noise), but nothing that can't be slept through relatively easily. Lots of activities and very helpful staff.

Me and my brother shared a four bunk room for two nights. Single roomste was pretty cool. Area has several good spots to eat that are close. Only downside is the typical Seattle homeless problem. Hotel is secure and safe. Pay parking lot directly across the street. There are a few individual bathroom/showers for those who dont dig community bathrooms. An awesome dive bar stays open till 2 just around the corner. Overall great visit.

Never been to a hostel before. So I am not certain exactly how to rate it. It was clean. Had a good Internet room. Decent looking kitchen area. Right beside China town. Only 2 blocks from Ho Ho's restaurant, which was AWESOME. Only a couple of blocks from the Amtrak station. And besides that was a great terminal for public transits, with friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Transit to the famous market was only about 10 minutes on the bus and a 3 block walk. All in all, if one is into hostels, I would feel comfortable with my 21 year old daughter staying in this one.
