  Best auto-shop in DFW. Period. The guys at Hookup Automotive are REAL mechanics not just the run-of-the-mill parts changers you find everywhere else. I took my vehicle (a problematic 98 Volvo) to several local and national "mechanic" shops and was quoted thousands of dollars of seemingly random repairs that didn't address the problem I went in for. (Seriously, new axles for an engine hesitation?!) Hookup was different. They took the time to actually troubleshoot the problem and found and fixed (a lot for free) so many different but relevant issues it was unbelievable. My issue was intermittent so they had to let the car run for an hour without taking their eyes off it to find it. That's a real mechanic for you. The car a runs perfectly and the kicker.....Hookup Automotive charged HALF what the next least expensive mechanic shop wanted. Highly recommend.
