::5 stars for the service. All the people who prepared food and cleaned our rooms were excellent. The front desk staff seemed to be friendly. Rooms were great and clean.

::It takes a lot for me to leave a review. First off, I was getting in late (after midnight) so I called ahead to let them know so they wouldn’t cancel my reservation for no-show. I had someone answer the phone and before I could say hello they asked me to please hold. I appreciate that, as I don’t like it when I’m trying to check in and they are on the phone. However, I was on hold for 10 minutes... so I called back, once again she tried to tell me to hold before I could say hello. I cut her off before she could click the button and told her how she put me on hold for 10 minutes last time. She assured me she would be right back. 4 minutes later, I got her to make a note on my reservation. Upon arrival, I was tired and ready for bed. Guy who checked me in was nice enough, gave me my keys, and I was on my way. Getting on the floor, something smelled pretty bad. Figured someone cooked something pungent (as homewood suites have kitchens in the room), but when I entered my room, I think someone may have been frying fish in there earlier. I put my stuff down, went and looked at the bed, and there were stains all over the white comforter. I called downstairs and told the guy my room smelled like fish, and the comforter looked dirty and I would like another room. He told me to come downstairs. When I got back to the lobby he just handed me my key and said “sorry about that.” I was expecting more of an apology, but I was tired and just took my keys and went up to the new room. The next room was still on the fishy smelling floor. The room didn’t smell but was terribly hot. I cranked up the AC and put my stuff down. I then looked at the bed, and once again, the comforter was stained. I was going to request another room once again, but I was miserably tired and just convinced myself “that brown stain is a coffee stain.” Next day I took all the sheets off the bed and put them on the floor (ie: take a hint, I want new sheets.) I did actually get new sheets. When I went to shower I put the new bar of soap on the shower shelf... upon my return there was a large black curly hair. Mind you, I’m blonde and pretty hairless. I found multiple of these hairs around the shower. Usually stick to Hilton hotels, however, I might has well have stayed at a crappy motel for half the price.
