  Only place in town with a room left after I was stuck on a layover due to blizzard in the east. Service was wonderful but room was a little sketchy. Smelled awful of cigarettes and the smoke detector was wrapped in plastic. I was only there maybe 5 hours but she offered to arrange my cab the night before so I didn't have to worry in the morning. Happy they were there but probably wouldnt pick this without seeing the room first in the future.

  Friends had stayed here a few years ago and recommended it. When I walked in to check in, I realized something had changed. The staff we encountered was wonderful, but the cleanliness and condition of the hotel was run down. Hallway carpet was stained, furniture was dirty, faded and worn, baseboard was pulled away from wall in the room, no towel racks by the sink, uncomfortable mattress, lumpy pillows, and the tile on the floors was sticky. We opened the windows a bit to get some air into the room to help get rid of the overwhelming smell of floral air freshener. (Not sure when hotels will realize this does not make a room smell clean.) Much of this is out of the control of housekeeping. It is poor maintenance from the owners. The hotel is located near two freeways so I felt like i was sleeping at a race track most of the night. (Yes, I realized it's location when booking the room, but have stayed at other properties close to freeways without hearing every car. In fact we stayed at another property the following night that was also at intersection of two other freeways and never heard much road noise.) I can't comment on the breakfast because I only guessed the kitchen was as unclean as the rest of the hotel and we headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. According to the desk personal, the hotel has scheduled a remodel in the next couple months. I still do not know if I will ever be brave enough to stay here again.

  I like my room very much. Enough space to work and move around. Very clean. The only thing that I am missing is the printer. I was told that it has to be replaced. However the assistant manager was very helpful and printed a couple of documents for me. Next time, I will have to call before I make my reservation.

  Rooms are nice enough and well stocked. Good selection for breakfast. Nice, clean pool. But THE BEST thing about this place is the staff. They are incredibly kind, helpful and went above and beyond. It didn't matter if it was day or middle of the night, if you needed assistance, you got it promptly and with a smile. Thanks for making our stay the best it could be!

  This isn’t the newest Homewood around, but let’s be honest, we all stay at these for the spacious rooms and amazing happy hour. This Homewood is set apart from all of the others because of the ladies who work in the evenings. The food was better than any Homewood that I’ve ever been to and they constantly came and checked on me and kept my glass full. True southern hospitality. My room was clean and comfortable each of the three nights that I stayed. Great value for the price, I’ll definitely be back.
