  My first trip here back in March was a nightmare. However the mgmt gave us 4 gift cards 25 dollars each for our crappy service to use on our next visit should we decide to come back. Well we did and this time the service and food were both great. No complaints from me. I may actually go back a third time just to see if it was a lucky day or if they've improved their service......... Update coming soon

  The fried calamari was dry and over fried and my salad was wilted as though it was made in the morning and sat out all day long. My family did enjoy their seafood and gumbo although the jambalaya tasted a bit burnt. I am sure my family would go there again so I would recommend, if you are going there only for the seafood.

  Not big on seafood but I loved this shot.. Mostly because of the ambience & restaurant culture. Very lovely & family friendly; music selection could be a bit updated though haha

  If you like Red Lobster, you'll like this place.. Not a true seafood lovers place. Food quality was mediocre, although they did a good job on the Garlic butter sauce in the Boil combo. Fried Calamari and shrimp were very small and all breading. Same with the Crab Cakes...too much breading. Menus at the restaurant had far less selections than menu online. Service was confusing but good. We had several servers trying to take our order as soon as we sat down one after the other, but that's better than sitting there waiting to get served I guess. Do not plan to visit again.

  Sometimes the shellfish seems to have not been cleaned very thoroughly, but that is just to be expected at a seafood joint that deals in large quantities. My boyfriend and I have been there twice, and both times we ordered the crab legs and shrimp boil along with a half-pound of mussels added, and it's cheaper for two than anywhere else we know of to get a seafood dinner. Aside from the shockingly reasonable prices, the food really is tasty. The first time we ordered the cajun spice (but mild) and the second time we ordered the garlic butter. Both were great. When we found a little crab friend inside one of our mussels (and it'd been no friend to the mussel) the waitress resolved our complaint right away with no fuss. Personally, we like the ambiance and how interactive and dynamic it is, but if graffiti-covered wood isn't your thing, maybe don't come for the scenery. If you like the concept of a fishing dock where locals and visitors frequently leave their mark in writing, then you should check it out. I did not give a 5-star rating because the origins of the seafood are not specified, and I do wonder how they can charge so little for their seafood. I feel comfortable enough eating it, but I would love to know where my seafood is coming from so I can make educated decisions re: the sustainability of what I consume.
