  Rooms are old and dated. Remodeling is very much needed. Pull up every inch of that smelly carpet. Bathrooms need to be updated. Towels and bath cloths were very cheap and flimsy. Plenty of parking and good location.

  Incredible hospitality, great breakfast! Staff treat you like family. We stayed for a couple of days. Karina, who serves breakfast called us by names the very next day. It’s a family away from home. They had scrambled eggs ready but she was willing to cook differently for each of us. She was willing to make pancakes or waffles on request in addition to the oatmeal that was being served for the day. Beds are clean and comfy. Even though it seems like a old hotel, people who work here make it a great place to stay.

  A group of 5 of us had to abandon ship at an airbnb at 1 am after arriving in Washington, DC. The airbnb was so disgusting that we got there at 12 am and immediately started looking for a hotel room. Everything was booked. We showed up at this hotel after talking to an online operator who said they had a room available. Turns out, there were no rooms available, but in our dire situation the lady at the front desk managed to squeeze us in. We otherwise would have had to drive 5 hours home after just driving 5 hours down here. Words cannot express how grateful we were. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the workers are friendly even though we got there at 2 am. Will 100% book again.

  This hotel was a big disappointment. Do not believe any of the pictures. The facility is very dated. The cable TV in the room did not show any of the local stations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Their talents suffer behind the facility they are in.

  Not too far from UMD for the price. Unfortunately this location does not meet expectations set by the Holiday Inn brand. We stayed three nights and received no service despite requesting it after the second night in person at the front desk. Printer is inoperable in there business center. Restaurant is posted closed for renovations yet seemed open for scheduled private events. TV reception was terrible because the connector was absent and bare wire plugged into the set. Hard surfaces in room felt sticky. At least the sheets were clean and a/c working. For the same price we will be trying the budget brand by that other chain near the campus in the next few weeks and will compare.
