  Felipé and the entire staff at the Holiday Inn Newark Hotel was extremely kind, welcoming, and warm. I had experienced an awful travel day with cancelled flights, hours of waiting on the phone to speak to someone, and essentially being stuck in Newark on my way to an already short vacation. I was rather upset with my unfortunate luck, and Felipé saw this and was immediately asking what he could do to help. I even got a phone call to my room later on checking up on me. The rooms were clean, well prepared, and the beds were super comfy. Thank you Felipé and Holiday Inn staff for being so professional and going the extra mile, even if you didn't need to. This is a wonderful hotel and made a sad, disappointed young lady ready to take on the airport for another day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

  Great motel, not a lot of parking.. NOT BIG ENOUGH for any type of truck and trailer. Next to the airport, but don't hear planes. Traffic is little hard, construction in area on roads

  Put us on top floor, got in at 4am. At 8am hammer drill and sledgehammer start over my room. Sounds like they are in my room. Expensive breakfast, not good breakfast. Dirty menus. Front desk was a bit of a pain, but wasn't too bad... But the noise... Also my access card stopped working hours before checkout. Would not suggest EWR location until it's done renovations, and the restaurant staff are changed. Will avoid this brand due to lack of free or good breakfast, I'll take free or good, I'd prefer both, but demand at least one category.

  The hotel is in a good location, when it comes to proximity to the airport. Traffic is insane when I was in town for 2 weeks. Construction was every where. The location seems to be in a neighborhood I would not be seen at night. However, my stay was pleasant. The restaurant and bar inside were decent, in the pricey range. 15% gratuity is automatically added to your bill. It's hard to find food around the area, unless you want to drive out and face the NJ traffic. The attendants at the main desk we're friendly and seemed to care about your concerns. My room was clean and I have no complaints whatsoever.

  The check-in process was very quick and the front desk employee was professional and friendly. The room (King) was nice and spacious. The sink is outside of the bathroom which was a little strange for me, but I like the idea. It allows for no interference between multiple people if one needs to shower or use the toilet and another needs to just wash hands or brush teeth. One of the drawbacks of the room was the lack of a refrigerator and microwave. Also, one of bedside drawers wouldn't close; it would just slide back open if I tried to close it. Room service was tasty and filling. I wish the prices weren't as expensive though.
