  Perfect location by the university. Breakfast was very good in comparison to other places I've been. Housekeeping needs more attention to detail. Stark hallways and rooms, bare walls.

  I booked my room at this hotel in August to ensure I would have a room for my daughter’s graduation. Our room shares a wall with the elevator. When I asked for another room they told me they were full, even though online shows they have rooms. I am a rewards member and I booked 9 months in advance and this is the room they gave me?

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express as a last minute decision due to staying late at Maryland Day. The hotel is conveniently located on Rt 1, not far from UMD. We had a suite, which allowed my daughter to have her own bathroom. The room was nicely laid out. Both rooms had tv and there was free wifi. We had a delicious complementary breakfast. They have a pancake maker, eggs, sausage, home fried potatoes, muffins, bagels, cereals (hot and cold), yogurt, fresh fruit and juices, coffee and tea. There was enough room for all whom were in the dining room for breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay there again.

  After looking for hotels for over an hour I decided to book here. Close to the highways. Close to grocery stores and food. Next door is Rita's ice cream and Italian ice. Definitely worth waiting on line for! Vanilla custard was awesome. Hotel was fairly new and the room was nice. I had a view of a small stream which was kind of nice. Would stay here again. I also liked that breakfast was offered until 930am. Most other hotels end breakfast at like 730am when most guest are still sleeping! They also accommodated me for a late check out.

  Stayed here this past weekend. Rooms are a bit small, but felt clean and didn't smell or anything. I stayed on 6th floor and it was quiet despite some sort of event going on in the lobby area. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but it was free, so no complaints. Staffs were courteous, but if you need something, they're not very helpful. Actually most were, except just one guy at the reception. I think the other reviewer and I are talking about the same one.
