  Smell really bad in the rooms and hallway. I can hear people walking, running and talking in the hallway day and night. Price was cheap but quality was terrible.

  Zimmer insgesamt sehr laut man hört alles wirklich ALLES! Es ist aber sehr sauber und ordentlich. Unsere Zimmerkarten haben leider immer mal wieder nicht funktioniert. Auch nach neu programmieren. Frühstück gibt es übrigens nur bis 9:30 da das Buffet um diese Uhrzeit geschlossen wird. Auf freundliche Nachfrage erhält man dann nur die Antwort: "Das wir pünktlich um 10 Feierabend haben!"

  This is an upscale chain hotel. Fast, friendly service and easy online booking make this an easy choice when visiting San Diego. It's not close to the beach, but convenient to all major attractions, if you're driving. The free parking is a bonus that you won't find down-town. There's free Wifi and a nice breakfast bar. Popular with travelers and those who know the area. The convenience store across the street has sundries.

  Coworker of mine stayed here and had a not so great experience. First inconvenience is that we mistakenly booked a room in the wrong location; meant to book at the Holiday Inn in Old Town. When we called to have the reservation changed, we learned that the hotels are not franchised, and therefore cannot swap any reservations. The room that he stayed in was really small and uncomfortable. There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, which is inconvenient if you don't have a vehicle. Then, when we called to get a copy of the invoice emailed after the stay, they refused to help. When it was recommended that we speak with the General Manager, Angela, we still did not receive a response back from her. After this experience, we will never be doing business with Holiday Inn Express again.

  Our stay over the New Year's weekend was pleasant and relaxing. I am especially appreciative of the housekeeping and front desk staff for their help. My husband accidentally left a suit coat and dress shirt in the wardrobe. They held it and it is being shipping it to our home in Colorado. They go above and beyond for guests.
