  Clean hotel, friendly staff. I used a travel site to book the room and it was listed on the website we would have a mini fridge. There was no mini fridge in our room which is hard when we had so many awesome left overs from the restaurants we went too. The hotel is in the prefect spot and within walking distance of Michigan avenue. Besides the refrigerator and the bathroom having no ventilation, our stay was great and the free breakfast was yummy too!

  This hotel is clean enough, and is in an amazing location. It's hard to find a decent hotel in this area for the price. It's also nice that they renovated an older hotel, instead of tearing it down and building a new location. The breakfast is also good. Holiday Inn Express never disappoints when it comes to breakfast. The wifi was also good, which can be very hard in older buildings. The bathroom had absolutely no ventilation, which resulted in every surface being covered in water by the end of our showers. It was rather gross. The elevators were also small and slow. In the mornings, there was a few minute wait just to go to the main floor.

  We stayed for two nights then moved to another hotel nearby. Staff was great and everyone was friendly, but our room was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. Two double beds and no room for anything else. Small nightstand was in the closet and served as only dresser. Bathroom was adequate but also very small. There were three of us in the room and we were on top of each other all the time. I honestly stayed out of the room as much as possible. Also the noise from the street was a problem all night and we were on the fifth floor. Price is reasonable but we were relieved to pay more for a lot more space.

  The workers seemed very friendly and approachable. The room was clean and had modern furniture, but it was absolutely tiny and had a dirty showerhead. The breakfast was alright, they had some hot food available and pleasant seating options. The business center has a nice color printer which came in handy. It was overall a pretty good stay.

  I stay here often while traveling for work. The reviews are not that great, I always have a great experience here. The overnight front desk manager is super nice. Beware on the wait for the elevator, there are 15 floors, which means lots of people going up and down all day. Nothing they can do. Even 5 star hotels have long wait times. There is free breakfast, a business center, and is conveniently located 5 minutes from Michigan ave.
