  This place is great! The rooms and lobby area were clean and welcoming. The reason that this place is 5 stars is Malcolm. Seeing his smiling face in the morning when we leave and then returning at night to see the same warm welcoming smile. He is a top notch employee! Most promote!

  Decent facility. Too bad it is so poorly managed. Housekeeping never stopped by; pool that we were invited to enjoy at the front desk was actually closed down. Cold breakfast and lukewarm coffee. No hand sanitizer in all the stations. Laundry facility not working. What is not to love? Acting manager refused to hear me out. Incompetence. The day after we left we realized all our medication had been taken from three separate locations from our room. I usually use IHG but will rethink this on future travels. We checked out 5 days early and moved to a Hilton.

  We booked based on being a "pet friendly" hotel. They mention nothing about additional fees online and we assumed a typical $25 fee. Upon check in we were informed of their $150 pet "deposit". Upon further questioning we found this was a fee and not deposit and was 50% more than the room rate. We were not able to cancel, but did choose to not stay there out of principal and found a nearby hotel with a $25 fee.

  Overall, the hotel is clean. Our room was clean. The lobby and breakfast area were neat and well kept. The staff was very friendly during our stay. The only downside to our room was that the shampoo and body wash that were mounted to the shower wall were not refilled. The breakfast quality was average, but it served it’s purpose. Coffee was hot and fresh. Where this hotel missed the mark was in the ways they chose to cut costs. Styrofoam coffee cups instead of Holiday Inn cups. Costco K Cups in the room instead of name brand. Cheap plastic ware at breakfast. Off brand cereal instead of name brand. Overall, the hotel serves it’s purpose for our family and I would say it is worth the cost.

  Great rooms very clean some of the staff though is so rude. The girl who works the night shift wasn’t friendly at all and I had to call today about something and the man at the front was rude. There is no reason to be nasty to people. Other than that our stay was great. I would give 5 stars if people weren’t so rude.
