  Great breakfast place that feels far from bustling downtown. Nice decor, great service & good food. The strawberry sauce on the strawberry waffles is way too sweet, but everything else I've had is excellent.

  Great breakfast! Kata our server was very attentive. Biscuit's and gravy were unique. More of a hollandaise sauce, but still good. Coffee was awesome. Came back again for a second day. The corned beef hash is amazing! Definitely give this place a try. I mean they have "San Diego's best breakfast" right on the side of the building.

  When they mean home cooking they mean it. Fantastic places for breakfast and bakery. Freshly baked goods every day. A must Try in San Diego. They will spoil you and your taste buds.

  Easter Sunday with my daughter...late lunch...wanted to miss some of the crowd. But to be honest it's always good there and busy. The reason? There is always a good flavor to all their dishes no matter what you order. Authentic dishes that are rich, flavorable and always delicious is served at Hon Nob Hill. An old restaurant that continues to to keep people coming back for more. I highly recommend this place....it's a jewel of San Diego.

  This restaurant has been there a long time yet it is well maintained. Mostly regular food, nothing fancy. Food is very good, nothing to complain about. We had breakfast about 11 AM, by the time we left about an hour later, there was a short wait to be seated. Always busy and servers hustle but attentive. Fruit was fresh.
