::FIRST RATE PEOPLE WITH TOP QUALITY PRODUCTS. From the cooperative spirit in ordering of a special Noguchi coffee table (I wish I could remember the gentleman's name) to the professional delivery and assembly by Clive & Gabriel, this is a first class operation. I was kept informed of the sale date, order status and the delivery took place the same day the table arrived at their warehouse.

::RETURN NIGHTMARE. Be prepared - if you buy something from this store you have to live with it even if turns out to be awful. This is a third party supplier- take my advice and buy directly from the company manufacturing the product. Hive had MUCH more restrictive return options. Maybe if you live West Coast it makes sense to use Hive, but certainly not NY. Here's the specifics: I bought two chairs from Blu Dot through the Hive website, which was a HUGE mistake. I should have bought directly through Blu Dot. The chairs were uncomfortable and I called to initiate the return. I found out that even though Blu Dot allows returns for full refund, Hive does not. The product was shipped from Blu Dot, and was Blu Dot furniture, but because I purchased through the Hive website, the Blu Dot return policy did not apply. Hive said that I had to adhere to the Hive return policy, limited to exchange for store credit only I had to pay return shipping. Fine. I saw that when I purchased the chairs, shipping was $12 from their Chicago warehouse, so I figured I'd take the risk of ordering furniture online thinking I could send it back if it didn't work out. However, when they sent the return authorization, I had to send the furniture BACK TO PORTLAND from NY, not to Chicago where it was shipped from. Return shipping would be $170. I called to ask if I could simply return it to Chicago where it was shipped from. No. It had to go back to Hive. I called customer service to specifically ask if I could just send it back to where it came from. No again. I would have to pay $170 to send back two $120 chairs just so that I could get STORE CREDIT, not even a refund. Just beware, I would never order from this third party site if I could do it over. If I had simply clicked "purchase" on a different webpage, I'd have a full refund and simple return, but because I purchased from Hive I have to live with these awfully uncomfortable chairs or pay more than half their cost to return them for STORE CREDIT.
