::I’m so disappointed that this museum was a one star because I am born and raised from Miami .. Thank god it was free when I went ! If you’re reading this , please don’t go and waste gas or time. You’ll literally walk in and be there for no longer than 10 min. A good museum you’re in there for a good two hours or more. Miami needs to step it up!

::A real hidden gem of Miami that can be forgotten especially with the new art and science museums. The downstairs is really neat but it is really the upstairs exhibits that shine. They change in and out and are usually Miami centered. They also host the annual map fair upstairs which is a real neat event. Worth the trip if you like history and are in the area.

::a very fascinating and educational experience. The HistoryMiami Museum is a wonderful, informative, and educational experience that people of all ages can really enjoy. I'm a child at heart, so the hurricane Andrew exhibit really captured me. The hurricane simulation room is a rather exciting and educational addition to the museum, and the knowledge of the scale of destruction caused by this storm will leave you speechless. Along with this, there are many other works of fine art and displays that will engage your mind and fuel your imagination.
