::Nice place to stay in the middle of Kansas City. Very accommodating for almost anyone entertainment everywhere. Food is always nearby and the service and staff are top-notch. Whatever you do do not go to the 13th floor there's an elevator it will take you there don't go there if I told you why.... .

::Great staff, loved that there was a Starbucks inside the hotel. Convenient location, and spacious rooms. Will be staying here again next time I am in town!

::The parking garage is most convenient. The front desk staff was very polite. My room was outstanding although a bit dusty. I did not visit any of the restaurants but the decor was beautiful.

::This is a fabulous hotel in a fantastic location. The staff is excellent, and my accommodations were perfect. I selected a room from the online application. I chose a corner room which gave me great views of the city. My room had lots of space and was very quiet and clean. The hotel breakfast buffet was very typical of this caliber of hotel. I had a made to order omelet each day that was cooked perfectly. The bar was cozy, and the staff was friendly. The work out room has everything you need but is small for all of the equipment. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

::Dinner at the Providence restaurant was really pleasant and peaceful. Our server, Dennis, was definitely on the ball and had a great balance between attentiveness and charm while knowing when to leave us alone on our date. My only disappointment was that the menu lacked a little excitement for me as a younger foodie, and my food was nice but didn't have any memorable "wow" factor. I ordered the prime filet, which was cooked perfectly to my order, but I would have loved to have a bit more seasoning. Didn't even have to be a fancy rub, because I appreciate that some restaurants do really well with a very classic approach, even a tiny bit more salt would have been better to open up the flavor a bit. That said, my husband ordered the bison hangar steak with a poached egg with incredibly delicious roasted root vegetables. It was absolutely wonderful, and everything my meal lacked in flavor, his had. Actually, we just swapped dishes and that solved the issue for me. Again, not a true complaint, but for the price of the dinner on a rare child-free date night, I was hoping for a little more of a special experience. I would go back, but there are lots of other restaurants in the downtown, River Market and Crossroads neighborhoods we'll try out first before Providence bumps back up into rotation.
