  This school is a joke. I attended this school in the early to mid 90's from Kinder to 5th grade and I loved it. Teachers were awesome and the principle Dr. Linda Holman was the reason we were a Blue ribbon school. She cared for the students. That's the reason I moved to this side of town to bring my son. Pfft... Well I regret I did. This school is not what it used to be. The only 2 things this administration care about are the grades and damn test scores. Not your child's well being. They just want their bonuses. If your child IS a bully then go ahead and bring them here, they'll get away with it I promise. Funny they push you to buy Anti-Bully shirts but don't enforce it. Parents have moved their kids from here becasue of the principle. My mom taught for 23 years for EPISD and thankfully helps me in what to do and where to go to take care of my son so he can be happy here (my son has been bullied for a year and a half here Verbally and Physically and STILL nothing has been done. NOTHING!!!) I'm so disappointed in this school. SMH

  Horrible school, so blessed that I don't have to go there anymore. most of the teachers hate their job and really just go for a pay check.

  I been there when I'm little. and I got +A and +B grades everyday! now I'm in high school. I miss that school!! this school was my favorite school. and teacher helps me and my family a lot! and they really awesome teachers and I won't stop go there to visit my teachers and my friends. but they already grow up. some of them I don't remember them! and I miss my crush from there! and I don't want to forget about that school! 2004-2015

  My two boys go to hillside- 1st and 3rd grade. We have had a good experience every year because of the teachers. They have been great! Mrs. Gonzalez in kindergarten is the best! Mrs. Karen Guerrero for 3rd grade is one of their best as well!! Feeling pretty blessed to have had such amazing teachers and a pretty smooth experience here.
