  We got our car quickly and were upgraded because our midsize was not in lot. The 2018 Chevy was nice, comfortable. The fifth star would have been awarded if our agent lifted his face from the computer. I felt like we bothered his game/messages. He never asked if we needed a tour of the car. My parents were with us. My Dad 80, needed a tour and his baggage handler showed him we're the lights, gas cap opener were. His car wasn't washed on the outside. No one to complain to. Just poor customer service. Yes, it was Thanksgiving weekend, but it was Friday at 12:30pm. Hey guys. Customer Service is why I choose from the bigger guys. Car return a breeze.

  MacArthur Airport in Islip, NY is one of the easiest airports to fly into and rent a car. Hertz Gold makes it even better. A big difference to flying into one of the main ones near the city.

  Staff at pick-up and turn-in were friendly and efficient. Getting a free upgrade was also very nice.

  Anthony Costello at the front counter was such a pleasure! took his time helping me and a not so nice customer at the same time. His patience is impeccable !
